History of school

Child Education Society; the apex body of Bal Bharati Public Schools and other institutions of higher education, was set up in the year 1944 during the Pre-independence when the elders thought that the Indian Culture, Heritage, Tradition and Ethos must be preserved and conserved and in order to achieve those objectives,it became obligatory for the Society to educate the young people. Thus, the society was registered under the Societies Act,1860.

The students are being given ample opportunities to excel in scholastic and co-scholastic arena. In an effort to develop the wholesome personality of the students they are encouraged to participate in various Intra-school and Inter-school competitions.

Chasing the soaring flight of the swan in the school logo, Bal Bharatians have made their presence felt in Inter- School competitions in Sports, Dance and Literary Activities like Extempore, Declamation Contest (organized by Nehru Sidhant Kendra, Ludhiana Sahodaya Complex and various other inter school competitions) .

Bal Bharatians blazed the stage of Gaiety Theatre, Shimla on 21st May,2011 in OPEN DANCE COMPETITION with their fantabulous performance and lifted the trophy beating ten other contenders in the junior group. The prestigious dance competition was adjudged by renowned choreographer, Saroj Khan.

Bal Bharati Public School executed various activities in accordance with action plan approved by British Council and has been awarded International School Awards twice in a row (from 2013-16 and from 2016-19)
